I love it

Little Bay belly-down, licking off the drink mix dusting the floor, which hasn't been mopped in who-knows-how-long.
I like being a mom.

Excuse This House
Author: Unknown
Some houses try to hide the fact
That children shelter there,
Ours boasts it quite openly,
The signs are everywhere.

For smears are on the windows,
Little smudges are on the doors
I should apologize, I guess
For toys strew on the floor.

But I sat down with my children
And we played and laughed and read
And if the doorbell doesn’t shine,
Their eyes will shine instead.

For when at times I'm forced to choose
The one job or the other,
I’d like to cook and clean and scrub,
But first I’ll be a mother.

Well now I don't feel so bad about the legos strewn all over the unvacuumed floor. LOL thanks. And here is a great post my Friend wrote that really touched me with the Spirit.

I love it! :) It's fun to know that other people live my same life...constant messes to clean up, sticky fingers, dirty diapers...and funny to think that we love it and wouldn't trade it for anything in the world! You are always so creative...I love visiting your blog to see what you will think of next! And thanks for the thought you added...that was a good one! Well, we need to get together soon! :)
