it's all about bodily functions...

…around here. That's what the wife of my former Bishop said of having small children. Well, we started introducing potty training…both girls! Little Bay is young to start this, (and Boo's a little older...but who's keeping track?) and Boo does better with her sister’s peer pressure and support. When Boo sits on the potty, she wants her sister right there on the little potty next to her. I have no expectations for them right now. Boo has just been stripping down and showing other signs lately so I wanted to try it. All expectations are on myself. I hope they just have fun with it and we’ll see where it goes, but, it’s not very much fun for me…any advice in this area is greatly appreciated!

Well - I can only say that it is wonderful not having to buy anymore diapers. I would suggest that you continue to keep it optimistic and also if there is something they love to do or a place they love to go to - use that as an incentive.
Keep me posted on how it goes. Two at once - You are brave.

yes, very brave, good for you! my advice is this; when i did grace i put panties on her but she didn't know it was any different from a diaper so she'd just go in them. to fix that we had her naked from the waist down for a few days and that fixed it. she only went in the potty. also i never used pull-ups, i went cold turkey from diapers to panties (even at night-time) and that worked for us. for some kids pull-ups are great and for others they're confusing. keep us posted, this should make some funny posts! :)

The best advice I can give is have her keep wearing her spiderman underwear just like she is! hahaha She first of all needs to get some cute panties(princess?:), and then I have no good advice yet since meg is only 10 months although I would love to potty train her now hehe. Plus I will be getting advice from YOU like I always do! but good luck I am sure that is tuff esp with two to do!

We liked the thick cloth training underwear. It still feels really wet to them when they go in them, but it absorbs more so you don't end up cleaning up such a huge puddle. and be patient. You'll learn really fast where every single bathroom within 20 miles of your home is and whether they are clean or not!

I love the advice guys, definately keep it coming! Things are going slowly as we've been sick around here, but the girls are still excited about the potty and I think that's the important thing.

I love her style! Too cute!
I showed my little girl how her doll could go on the potty and she wanted to go as soon as she watched her. I have to say the potty doll is a great buy!
