this is why I believe...

...the way I do...in happily ever after... ...that families can be together forever...forever... ...that "families are established and maintained on principles of faith, prayer, repentance, forgiveness, respect, love, compassion, work, and wholesome recreational activities"!!!

...this was our 24th of July weekend...
...most of my family here to visit in honor of the Temple Sealing of my sister and her husband and their baby girl...

"The family. We were a strange little band of characters trudging through life sharing diseases and toothpaste, coveting one another’s desserts, hiding shampoo, borrowing money, locking each other out of our rooms, inflicting pain and kissing to heal it in the same instant, loving, laughing, defending, and trying to figure out the common thread that bound us all together." ~Erma Bombeck

name that great-grandchild...

...when the cousin's kids get together, and we start to have large groups of second cousins, things start to get confusing...but it's so fun!
These were kids of my hubby's cousins. He had just run the Wasatch Back Relay...and then met us at the park to play, what a good man.

Book of Mormon Stories...

Boo loves her Book of Mormon stories reader for children......more specifically, she loves this page....King Benjamin is telling about the birth of Christ and the life of Christ all the way through His resurrection, so it has pictures of this. She loves to find these pictures...and point out "Mama of Jesus." I love this girl...

touring...Downata Hot Springs...

...another camping trip, this time the girls and I were base camp for my hubbie and his brother. They climbed the highest peak in Idaho, Mtn Borah. We stayed at Downata Hot Springs. It's in the little city of Downy Idaho, population less than 700.
We slept in a Tepee with cots. Also available are yurts, cabins, RV/tent spots.
Nice setup. And while I waited on my own all day for the guys to hike. I took the girls to the hot springs water park.
