...and I am gonna want this back...
...these busy, little sleep, diaper changing, dirty home, grumpy kid times...
but going by my feelings alone right now, this entry could have more aptly been called:
I've fallen and I can't get up...
I'm drowning...
Good intentions...
...cause my house is in total disarray and I feel I can't catch up, because we are keeping so busy.
...cause there is stuff piled in every corner and it's about to bury us alive; I just can't seem to get on top of it.
...cause I have intended to do so many other good things (like blog) that I just haven't gotten to...yet.
Then today, I come home after a long shopping trip with the girls (explanation enough for any mom shopping with one or more kids)...and as I'm turning the corner,
I'm praying the girls stay awake for 2 more minutes so they can get good naps,
I'm praying I might get one of the first parking stalls so I can haul all my stuff in quickly,
and I'm praying that just maybe there will even be someone there to help me...but I won't push my luck, or um, blessings...
...and… we sing one more round of "wheels on the bus," yes, they are awake,
as I pull into the very first parking stall,
and open my door to the literal embrace of a good friend who happened to be walking by.
I was so overwhelmed by the exactness in God's caring for me that I had to stop, even as I am throwing things into bags for a weekend camping trip, that I have to leave for in one hour, and give a little thanks.

bye bye...
I'm missing my cousin who recently left and also left an impression on the girls...it was so good to get to know her! (I know how much she will love these pictures on here too....sorry, I think they're cute!)
Boo became friends instantly......it took Lil'Bay awhile, but they became friends at last. We were able to pull Lil'Bay away from her novel (Twilight) long enough to say farewell...

body parts...
Boo and me learning our body parts...
I saw a mother singing this to her child, I don't know if she made it up, but I made up my own little version and here it is so that my sis never forgets to sing it to her child...

touring...Moab, Arches, etc...
Memorial Day weekend fun...we took the girls, my sis & 6 month old, my husband's bro, and my Scottish cousin...
Dead Horse Point... Three red heads, we ran into another of my husband's brothers...

Lil' Bay posing at Sand Dune Arch...
Boo is a rock climber...it's her daddy's fault...since this trips, she's tried to climb all the trees, rocks, chair rails, etc she finds...I don't mind, especially if she can be a tom-boy and still keep up her cute feminine side (climbing in her sun dress)...
balancing Balanced Rock...
me and my cousin from Scotland who thought this was all just 'pure dead brilliant' (in a great accent), especially the open air toilets...haha...
we look just like our daddies!
first time we've seen this....Delicate Arch, it was great!
1 large can of peaches
cover with one package yellow cake mix
dot with squares of butter
wrap in tinfoil, careful not to let juice leak
throw into hot coals! yum!
...served with home made ice cream in a baggy...
s'mores with Jet Puffed...nothing but the best!
Sand Dune Arch with some handsome, rugged guy...
...this arch was seriously like a play ground for the kids. If they are done hiking (it's only a 5 min walk) and just need to let loose some energy in a safe place (no cliffs to fall off), this is where to do it, they rolled around in this sand dune, buried themselves, climbed the small structures, there were kids swarming everywhere...
