...after this recent slew of posts to get a little caught up, I once again am asking myself: why blog? To improve my writing? Is there somehow I can scrapbook all of this? Do I need to? Is it just for me? Just for the Grandmas? Help me out here...
i wonder the same thing about writing my blog, but then i randomly click next blog and find something interesting in someone else's blog whom i have never met...

And also, You can have a book made of your blog. http://www.blurb.com/create/book/blogbook This is just one, you can Google blog book.
But for me it's a journal and scrapbook of sorts. I save everything I post in a word doc (copy and paste) and then email it to myself periodically so I don't lose it if my computer crashes or I accidentally delete my blog. I love to hear others perspectives when they take the time to comment as well. And I get lots of support and inspiration from reading other's blogs. You are one of those really great ones for me actually. Just my 2 cents. :)
I like the idea of copying and making a word doc of the blog. Especially since I am not good at keeping a journal. I love reading your blog! It makes me feel connected with you guys even though I don't get to see you every week.
I hope you'll keep blogging, for all of us far away that feel a bit more connected to you and your family... sometimes it feels like no one ever looks at what we blog, but I look at yours nearly everyday checking to see if there is anything new...
PS be careful clicking NEXT BLOG, there is some pretty yucky stuff being blogged, and you might very easily trip into it, it's happened to some friends of mine. I've removed that bar from my blog so no one accidentally trips into garbage from my blog....
